Rakesh Singh, Ph.D., P.Eng.

Rakesh is a highly accomplished individual with a strong educational background and a diverse range of expertise. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, specializing in a field related to his passion for environmental engineering. Prior to his doctoral studies, Rakesh earned a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from MN National Institute of Technology in Allahabad, India.

Rakesh's commitment to his profession is evident through his registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada. This registration signifies his expertise and adherence to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct within the engineering field.

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Rakesh is also an entrepreneur and a visionary. He is the founder of two notable companies: Lotus Homes Canada Inc. and Lotus Solutions Canada Inc. Lotus Homes Canada Inc. is a home building company registered in Ontario, focusing on the construction of high-quality and sustainable homes. Rakesh's expertise in environmental engineering likely contributes to the company's commitment to sustainable practices in the construction industry.

Gurvinder Chopra

Gurvinder Chopra is currently working as a Vice President-Standards & Regulation for Electro-Federation Canada, a Not-for-profit Association of Canadian Electrical manufacturers, distributors and manufacturing agents. He is responsible for initiatives around changes happening in the Standards, Codes & standards development, product testing & certification in support of innovations happening within the Electrical manufacturing sector and leads the advocacy efforts with Municipal, Provincial and Federal Governments.

Gurvinder has a degree in Marine Engineering and has sailed for 10 years in early part of his career with more than a year as a Chief Engineer. Subsequently, he worked with companies like CSA Group (Canadian Standards Association), Lloyd’s Register & BSI (British Standards Institution) in their locations in India, UK, USA and Canada. He has also worked in Iraq as part of United Nations ‘Food for Oil’ program.

Gurvinder has also undertaken Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from McMaster University, Hamilton, Operations Management Certification program from Loyola University, Chicago and recently, completed a program on Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School.

Jasmeet Judge

Jasmeet Judge is a currently working as an area manager for a premier Classification Society, responsible for standards of build and quality of ocean going ships.

Like Gurvinder, Jasmeet too is a Marine Engineer who sailed for 10 years, ending up as a Chief Engineer on ocean going ships. He subsequently joined Lloyd's Register of Shipping but has also done stints for shipyards and shipbuilding firms. Jasmeet brings a wealth of experience in engineering and in the management of large and diverse teams.
